Our Visit to Clayfield and McConnel electorate offices!

On Thursday 23rd of May, Lock the Gate volunteer activists and campaigners paid a visit to Clayfield LNP MP Tim Nicholls and McConnel ALP MP Grace Grace, delivering fresh-picked pumpkins and a very strong message on the importance of protecting Queensland’s agricultural land from fossil fuel extraction.

Lock the Gate activist Chris explained “we’re calling on Tim Nicholls and the LNP to bring a suite of policies to the state election protecting precious farmlands from coal and gas. We know they’re expanding coal and gas at the moment, both Labor and the LNP support this, and we’re hoping that they will bring policies taking a firm stance against it.”
